Bread so that this house may never know hunger. Salt so that life may always have flavor. Wine so that joy and prosperity may reign forever.

The ceremony began with a special Lithuanian tradition shared between Anna, Adam, and their family.

As I stood behind them capturing the love and beauty in their eyes they began sharing their vows. I paused for a moment to soak in the words spoken and even my eyes began to well with tears. Anna and Adam were two of the most genuine people I have ever met. Together they have built a world of natural simplicity and raw authenticity. The words they had written for one another were some of the most beautiful Ive ever heard.

After the ceremony, just as the sun had peaked out from behind the clouds, Bill and Pat drove in on a classic 1910 Mercer. It was a rare treat to ride in a century old car and the weather was perfect for a short trip around the block.

Though I personally invest my heart into every wedding I photograph, this wedding also had a very significant meaning to me. Adam and I have been best friends since we were 4 & 5 years old and with over a quarter of a century of friendship, the importance of this milestone event also meant the world to me.

I’ve been fortunate to see Anna and Adam’s relationship grow from its infancy into the incredible partnership they have today. It is hard for me to think of another couple more perfectly suited for each other. Their love for each other warms my heart and I am so excited to watch their journey continue to unfold together.

Some moments are to special to share
