Excitement

A portrait session will be a great deal of fun and If you are not thrilled to be getting your photo taken it will reflect in the images. Use this opportunity to let your hair down and enjoy yourself!

The key to any healthy relationship is communication and should be incorporate d into every aspect of life. After we connect, we create and open line for communication. We will fill you in on the details but feel free to share any thoughts ideas or inspirations.

Our photo sessions are fun but they are also pretty chill. We go to great lengths to make sure you are comfortable and confident, besides you look your best when you feel your best.

Expectations

Another important key to success is managing expectations. We want to make sure you know exactly what your a getting and will show you images throughout the session to both boost your confidence and help you know what to expect.

Chemistry

Like that awkward first date, you will know within a few moments, whether the chemistry is right or not. You can feel it, sense it, and to truly feel and look your best, the chemistry needs to be right.

Balance

One of the most crucial elements for a triumphant session is maintaining nice balance between all of these keys to success. If anything is off, we will do what it takes to bring it back to that feeling of zen.

Having a makeup artist with years of experience dedicated to you during the session will produce a significant difference in your images. Although we do not force you to include makeup in your package, we cannot guarantee incredible portraits/headshots without a professional makeup artist dedicated to you.

FAQs

PreSession

How far in advance should I schedule a session?
- Usually at least 2 weeks ahead of time but be sure to check in case we do have an available slot
How do I book a session?
- Contact us with your details and we schedule a date with you over the phone or through email. After the date is set, the session will be booked once we received your $100 deposit. That deposit will be applied to your session fee with the remainder due on the day of the shoot.
What should I wear?
- Keep It simple – we will be focusing on your and your lovely face. Stick with bold solid colors and no logos, excessive patterns, or accessories.
How can we pay you?
- We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards (merchant fee applies)
Are you Insured?
- We have both business and liability insurance.

Photoshoot

What can I expect during a photo session?
- Whether you are a professional model or this is your first time in front of a professional lens, the session will be the same. We will have a blast, it will be a chill but enjoyable environment. We will get to know you during our time together and by the time you leave we will be asking to join us for brunch on Sunday.

How long are your sessions?
- Sessions are typically between 1-2 hours. Add an extra hour for hair and makeup.

Do I really need a makeup artist?
- Short answer: Yes.*
- Long answer: We know you’re beautiful, you know you’re beautiful, but everyday makeup and on camera makeup are very different. By using a professional makeup artist everyone will be able to focus their attention on natural expression rather than any imperfection.

PostSession

When will I receive my images?
- The turn around for headshots are 2 weeks
How will I receive my images?
- Your images will be delivered via a private download link. A DVD can be provided upon request
Can I share my photos on Facebook?!
- With the digital files included in select packages you’ll receive web ready photos that you can post to Facebook/Instagram/or an other social site or blog. The images are not to be edited or cropped and you cannot remove the watermark. Also these are web file which are not suited for printing.
Are these Photoshopped?
- We do use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to adjust color and do light touch ups to remove blemishes, smoothing out skin texture, teeth whitening, eye brightening, while maintaining all of your natural features.
- We don’t however change things like your eye/hair color, the overall size/shape of your body, or clothing.
